Dr. Mohammad (Sam) Shahsavari
DVM · Co-Owner & Principal Veterinarian
Dr. Sam Shahsavari received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Shiraz University in Iran and has worked as a veterinarian since 1992. He is a member of the AVMA, the CVMA, and is a licensed member in good standing with the College of Veterinarians of Ontario (CVO). Dr. Sam also holds a Master of Public Health from Tehran Medical University. He co-founded this clinic with Dr. Matt, and his professional interests include internal medicine, anaesthesia procedures, and surgery.
Dr. Mahdi (Matt) Haghighat
DVM · Co-Founder
Dr. Matt Haghighat received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) with honours in 2006 from Azad University in Iran. He is a member of the CVMA and is a licensed member in good standing with the College of Veterinarians of Ontario. During eight years of practice in his own clinic, he developed a high interest in internal medicine, cardiology, and soft tissue surgery. Dr. Matt is currently on an educational leave.
Melanie P.
Clinic Manager · ACA/VTA
Born and raised in the Toronto Beaches area, Melanie has been at the clinic since 2018. She completed her ACA/VTA at Durham College and is on the path to becoming an RVT. She has a keen interest in animal nutrition and enjoys assisting in surgery.
